NHS waiting times and employer obligations
Given the length of NHS waiting times, and the time it can take for employees to receive a diagnosis or be treated, what are the obligations of employers in this regard? If someone is on a waiting list for a specific condition, whether physical or mental health-related, what can they expect from their employers and what rights do they have if it is affecting their work and productivity? Are employers required to show support in advance of any potential diagnosis and, on the whole, do they do this? Any other thoughts on this issue, send them across.
