Drive The News Sept 25 2022
Each week, we ask Newspagers if they think they've got a story the media will be interested in that could ‘drive the news’. It's a chance for your business or charity to be the primary focus of a story, as opposed to responding to stories that are already breaking or coming up (as with our ‘News Alerts’). So have a quick scan of the two Qs below and if either gets you thinking, write away in the responses.
- Are you seeing an interesting trend in your industry or sector that hasn't been written about in the media much (or better still, at all)? Perhaps you have data or a case study to back it up? Essentially, do you know something, or are you seeing a trend, that you think journalists may be interested in and should be writing about? It could be related to the Bank of England rate rise and mini-Budget.
- Has anything happened within your business or charity over the course of the past week that may drive a story in the media, e.g. you've hit a milestone, had an interesting customer, client or donor story, opened a new shop or office or made a senior hire?
If our news team see something that we think will fly in the local, trade or national media, we'll be in touch tomorrow (Monday) morning sharp.
