Why London is the world’s best city… but its early closing times suck
For an opinion piece for the Metro:
I am writing an opinion piece on why London is the world’s best city… but its early closing times suck, always leaving a dilemma between an early Tube home or a £40 Uber to stay out just one or two hours later.
I need quotes from financial experts for my piece, I am asking:
- Would it stimulate London’s economy if it stayed open later, and the Night Tube expanded? Because most places close when they’re full, not clearing out.
- What is holding back leadership in London from expanding transport at night?
