How many broker tools does your firm pay for?

ended 24. September 2026

Something that keeps coming up when I chat with brokers: most firms are paying for a whole stack of tools on top of their CRM. Keychain, Mortgage Wallet, Sprift, Hometrack, plus a few others depending on the firm.

I'm genuinely curious what that looks like for everyone here.

How many tools are you paying for right now? Roughly what does it all add up to each month? And do they actually talk to each other, or are you still copying details from one system to the next?

No right or wrong answers. I'd like to know whether this is as common as it sounds.

The feedback I'm seeing from the advisers is the exact feedback I receive daily.

This is why we have integrated property intelligence, AI assessment, individual and business ID checks, CPD logging, compliance checks, and other tools, offering the ultimate one-stop shop.

13 on my last count - but they aren't necessarily just mortgage specific, but they are all needed to the job.
But you have nailed the issue on it's head - nothing speaks to each other which diminishes the value of the products and ends up in manual rekeying/workarounds. We are now taking a different approach entirely and stepping back before investing in more software, going back to mapping the workflows and then finding the right software/tech for the process.

We’re at around 6–7 tools on top of the CRM, and the bigger issue isn’t just the monthly cost — it’s the duplication. There’s still a fair bit of copying information between systems because the integrations don’t always cover the whole journey. Consolidating the stack without losing useful functionality would definitely be appealing.
