Ollie Lawrence was a bulldozer on the field, slaying the All Blacks like a knight cutting through chaos. Combined with George Ford’s crisp, clinical kicking, arcing through the air like a falcon on a flawless flight, this was an absolute treat of a triumph, a victory wrapped in power, precision, and pure English pride. And Pollock’s blond mop shook like a banner in battle, gleaming in the face of the beaten Kiwis.
