Could the conflict result in no rate cuts in 2026?
Bloomberg is reporting that traders are pricing in fewer than 5 basis point cuts for this month's meeting, with less than a 50% chance of a 25 basis point cut in April.
Considering where we were this time last week, gilts are dropping heavily with yields rising considerably. Two year gilt yields are now the highest they have been since December.
