Big changes to Newspage incoming, including mobile app
Big changes are set to be introduced by Newspage in October and the fourth quarter of the year.
- Our platform will be switched from people being experts on company Newspages to having their own individual Newspages. This is a crucial structural change in the platform ahead of the launch of our mobile app. Just like you have your own LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages, you will now have your own Newspage.
- The beta version of our mobile app will be made available to Newspage Platinum subscribers next month and rolled out to everyone in January 2025. It will enable them to respond to news alerts via video and also offer them a rich, WhatsApp-type environment to pitch story ideas and discuss them with their peers. News Alerts will be received not just by email but via push notifications on their mobiles.
- We’re launching Newspage News. While we will continue to support the mainstream media with our content as we always have done, we (well, you) are now generating so much of the stuff that the media cannot always keep up. So we’ll be launching our own news site, and Newspage Platinum subscribers will be the roving reporters on our decentralised News Desk, driving stories from the front line of their sectors.
- We’re launching in the US. If you’re UK-based, this won’t have any impact on you, of course, but if you’re a UK business that’s keen to feature in the US media, that will now be possible. We now have access to every journalist globally.
If you’d like to use the beta version of the mobile app and be an editor on our News Desk, sign up to Newspage Platinum. If you do so by midnight tonight, you’ll get 50% off the normal price for 3 months. Newspage Platinum is normally £119.99pcm, so you’ll be getting it for 3 months for just £59.99pcm — and remember, you can cancel anytime.
The discount code - PLATINUM50OFF - expires at midnight tonight.
Best regards,
