The quotes you see are from real people, at the heart of the issue and with a genuine passion for the subject. It's given me, a normal bloke from the Black Country, the ability to stick up for borrowers at a National level.

Some publications quote the same 2 people on all finance stories, which appears like a partnership or paid representation. often written by a PR spokesperson with no industry knowledge, and often very level and unopinionated. variety is the spice of life, and real expert imput is also key in the modern digital landscape where swiping to the next story is so simple.

The echo chamber engineered by the likes of Spotify is quite useful as it saves time on listening to similar music styles. However, when the mainstream media rely on corporate spokespeople, the echo chamber just expands the corporate BS and actively alienates modern audiences. It's convenience instead of authentic journalism. It’s a regurgitation of a pre-packaged narrative instead of editorial independence, transforming news sites into passive megaphones for big business rather than watchdogs for the public interest. It’s perhaps the main reason why, as a society, we have stopped being able to agree to disagree and be open to different points of view. This corporate saturation directly destroys value and trust. The media, like our politicians, need fewer professional media people and professional politicians and more real-life experience.
