<h3>Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity, based in Headingley, Leeds, is celebrating 20 years of being there for patients and families across the region with an Open House on 26th February.</h3>The charity is inviting supporters, volunteers and people from the local community to the YBTC shop at 31 Otley Road, Headingley LS6 3AA, to join in the celebrations between midday and 3pm. There will be light refreshments, a chance to grab some bargains from the charity shop, meet the team and find out more about the charity’s events, research, support, fundraising and future plans. <a href="https://www.yorksbtc.org.uk">Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity</a> started life in 2003 as Andrea's Gift, named after Andrea Key, who died just seven months after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour.20 years on, the charity has grown exponentially and currently supports over 1000 patients and carers across Yorkshire through counselling, grants and a range of support groups, while funding vital Yorkshire-based research to find better treatments and a cure.Marie Peacock, CEO, Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity, commented:<blockquote>20 years on and we couldn’t be prouder to be keeping the gift Andrea left us alive by continuing to be here for patients and families across Yorkshire.
