I studied at Nottingham Trent Uni before starting my design career at a brewery - yes, it all started in the pub! I had an amazing 4 years at Marston's in the in-house design team before the whole dept was wound down when the brewery was taken over. A slightly turbulent period of back & further with different jobs, including working for myself in my late 20s & then settled in retail design for the next 7 years. My heart was really in hospitality though & I headed back to it in 2007 & that's where I stayed for 12 years before jumping out on my own in 2019, freelance designing & running my own projects. All so quickly disrupted, like others, by the pandemic, I've twisted & turned to work through the last year with some office developments, residential & continued freelancing into my previous employer's design consultancy, keeping my foot in the hospitality sector that I love. I'm hopeful for the future, I work hard & I'm tenacious, & I'm looking forward to helping businesses, spring back into action.
