I started my career as a theatrical agent, moved into TV where I worked as a producer/director and BBC presenter for over 20 years. I also worked as a celebrity stylist and I have written three books on dating, money and fashion. I had years as a TV Director and Producer on various TV shows and corporate shoots. I had a parking space, cameramen and a cheery runner with my morning latte! AND THEN THE WORLD CHANGED Everyone wanted to shoot their own content! Traditional video crews were no more Social media went video gangbusters Budgets were cut DIY video creation dawned In 2008 I set up Violet Productions a boutique production company shooting innovative and brilliantly shot videos at cost effective prices and I continue to run it today for clients who want to outsource all their video content. Then, as smartphones became a popular shooting choice, I realised my expertise was needed in this new video arena. I had to come up with an idea fast to help so many clients who had no video budget. Small business owners, course creators, start ups and solopreneurs. My expertise could be seriously helpful and I knew I could really make a difference to a whole new generation of business video creators.
