My name is Fiona Bowen, and I currently work as a Legal Secretary... when my real passion, my heart and soul lays with my art. I am grateful for my job. I also dream of making art for a living whilst inspiring others to make their art, too. Silver Moon Art is very much in its infancy, a work in progress. I started it during lockdown after the law firm I had only just started working for went under during the pandemic, and when my artmaking was all that was keeping me (relatively) sane! Right now, I am saving hard to get a van to convert and live in, reducing my carbon footprint as far as possible, whilst still contributing to society, travelling the UK selling art and teaching workshops. Art is for everyone. Everyone needs art in their life - whether they know that yet or not! I don't need a huge company, I just want to be the change I yearn to see in the world, inspiring (or at least encouraging!) others to do so, too. I love upcycling CDs, and turning them into my CD mosaic images on canvas. I have more ideas for this unique medium, and would love to spend my time exploring them and making them into reality. Thanks to NOA and Newspage, I now live in hope that one day, I may get to do just that!
