What should London-focused journalists be writing about?

I am wondering how long ago it was actually a better time to get a mortgage. Rates are pretty good, affordability has improved a lot, and there are low and no-deposit mortgages. While many people may well be holding off getting a mortgage, they may not realise how much the market has eased/improved over the last six months to a year. Things can change very quickly in the mortgage sector, so if you have a chance to get on the property ladder, it may be worth taking it. 

After finishing university I joined a leading lender and worked in their current account mortgage department. This gave me a real insight into the way banks operate and helped me develop a strong knowledge of finance and customer service.

Two years later I was asked to move to large mortgage brokers in St James's, London. I started in their compliance department and soon took over as the product manager, reporting directly to the managing director.

Just over ten years ago I joined Trinity Financial. I work with banks, building societies, journalists and clients.
