Three quarters of HR leaders say economy is impacting L&D strategy, survey reveals
Hi,
I'm covering a piece for People Management about a survey from Corndel that revealed three quarters of HR leaders say the economy is impacting L & D strategy.
In the survey, 60% of employees say they would be more more likely to go for a position with a personalised professional development and career progression plan, even when another job offered a slightly higher salary.
I am looking for some comment on the following:
1.Why training and upskilling could be more valued than money?
2. How the economy and budget cuts are impacting the L&D sector/profession?
Full link to the report: https://www.corndel.com/report/workplace-training-2023/
My deadline is Monday 6th February at 3pm.
Many thanks,
Arunth Sriganthan
