Basic Skincare is ESSENTIAL!!! And CONSISTENCY is equally as important!!

Keeping hydrated is one of the easiest ways to ensure your skin is in the best state it can be, but, if you've got that covered then here are some other ways to help the biggest organ on your body:

1. ALWAYS wash your face (and cleanse too!), morning and evening.
2. Introduce a Retinol serum and a Hyaluronic acid but be careful to get both with a good amount of each in there!
3. Seal all that goodness in with a moisturiser.

One of the main tips for glowing skin is to protect and maintain your skin barrier, which is the lipid matrix in your outermost layer of skin. Not to be confused with the skin's microbiome, which is the ecosystem of bacteria that lives on the skin's surface. Using harsh products, cold weather and central heating can prevent your skin barrier from working properly, making you prone to skin concerns like dry skin and breakouts.
You can protect and restore your skin barrier by simplifying your skincare routine like reducing your exfoliation, using red light therapy and using a moisturiser with ceramides and hyaluronic acid. So sometimes rather than looking at your skin concerns individually like breakouts, and dry skin etc, if you work on your skin barrier it can resolve all of the issues you may be having with your skin.

One of the easiest – and free – skincare tips is to simply wash your face for longer. You wouldn't quickly rinse a plate or pan covered in food after cooking so don't rush your cleansing step. Set a timer – I use my Echo speaker – and wash your face for at least 60 seconds, concentrating on the crannies around your nose and anywhere you get spots and congestion. You should see a notable difference in just a few days.

Skincare doesn't need to be complicated. You don't need a 12 step routine for good healthy skin. Nor do you need to spend a lot of money.
Essentials include a good cleanser, a good moisturiser and most importantly, a good SPF. Skincare is personal so shop around.
Our mini-collections sell really well as people like to try sample sizes before they commit to a larger size.
Cleanse both morning and night. A toner or mist will provide hydration and then in the evening use a good moisturiser and during the day, a lighter moisturiser with SPF. Embrace lines and aging! They tell our story. Live a good happy life, look after your diet, quit the cigs, enjoy the fresh air. Stress, fatigue and a poor diet can show up on your skin.
