Savvy the squirrel
Any general thoughts on the government's Savvy the Squirrel campaign, intended to get more people to invest, send them across ASAP. Particularly interested in views on the semantics of the phrase to ‘squirrel away’, which are arguably misplaced and not consistent with the risks that come with investing (the essence of the campaign). After all, to squirrel away generally means to put money somewhere safe and/or secret for future use. In short, are the semantics ill-conceived? Yes, we're being pedantic but it's interesting. Have at it. Think out of the box (yuk).
