Our first product was personalised pet Christmas decorations, and it has bloomed into a year-round venture with its own unit space to manufacture custom products to be sent directly to customers.

Using online marketplaces such as Etsy and Amazon has been key to driving initial traffic to our brand and allowed us to grow quickly. This is something we would have struggled to do on pure marketing alone.

Six years ago I set up a side hustle as a singer alongside my full time job as art shop owner and art tutor.
I used to perform in my teens, but after losing my father before I was twenty I couldn’t bring myself to do it again. After my mother died six years ago I had nobody to sing to, so began posting Singalong Sundays on my social media. It got popular and I began getting requests to perform
for money! So my alter-ego ‘Beau Norton Vintage Crooner’ was born. I sing songs from the 30s-50s and Rat Pack, and I’m lucky enough to be travel up and down the country performing at weddings, vintage events, bars, other large events, and retirement homes. I was honoured to be asked to sing in front of a crowd of 3,000 at the beacon lighting ceremony in Banbury, for the Platinum Jubilee last year. Will this side hustle eventually become my full time job? Who knows!
