Mortgage Brokers - views on Scottish Rent Freeze
I'm writing an analysis piece for Mortgage Strategy magazine, looking at the Scottish Govt's decision to impose a rent freeze.
Do you think this is a good idea? What could be the effect on BTL market north of the border?
Are similar moves likely in England, Wales and Northern Ireland?
Could it affect demand from BTL landlords/ overall sentiment even if other government's don't follow SNP's lead?
Any other comments welcomed. Just trying to get a view from brokers and a bit more insight into what the ramification of this legislation might be.
