HMRC late filing penalty

Please can I have a comment on this for a Sun consumer story beiong published asap. 

For the 2024/25 tax year, the first 5% late payment penalty deadline is midnight on 2 March 2026.

HMRC applies this penalty if you have not paid your balancing payment (and any first payment on account) within 30 days of the 31 January deadline.
