Got a story the world needs to know about?

ended 13. January 2026

REMINDER: If you think you've got a story the local, trade or national media would run, there are three ways you can start the ball rolling.

  1. Pitch it on the mobile app (available on iOS and Android) and, if we like the look of it, we'll create an alert about it seeking other views or run a standalone story on it
  2. Respond to alerts like these when we send them, suggesting story ideas
  3. If you're an Editor, pitch it directly to journalists in our Editors WhatsApp Group - or even create a News Alert about it (something only Editors can do).

Everyone is sat on a story so if you think you've got one, however niche or technical that may be (niche can often be easiest to land, strangely enough), just pitch it here or on the app.
