Do you give employees Blue Monday off?

This is an interesting idea but the real issue lies in understanding why employees and team members feel down. If Blue Monday is a symptom, then a workable long-term fix is needed. Whilst having an extra day off might help occasionally, a 'duvet day' is not likely to cure a 'sick' workplace. We're looking at ways to engage, recognise and reward our team, especially as we offer remote working and family-friendly terms. As COVID isolated many from their peers, perhaps there's more to do to create a great working environment whether or not staff are office based.
