The next big thing..

The night before Christmas, well actually it was a few days before. I had a really small budget for Christmas, but hoping to make sales while everyone was sitting indoors, my eye was caught by a tik tok ads offer- £20 for £200 worth of free ads. I debated spending even this bit of money but decided to add Tik Tok to Shopify and set up a business account. Then I paid £24 for the ad, but a screen shot showed a broken computer and a red cross so I made several attempts. Finally I tried a different payment method which showed as successful.&nbsp; You can imagine my horror when I see that all the payment attempts were actually taken. Four attempts! £24 taken four times simultaneously ..PayPal refused to refund. Shopify could not help, and Tik Tok support was incomprehensible. I was completely unable to resolve this, and the money and the account has completely disappeared. I can’t tell you how much that small bit of money was missed over December,<blockquote>It was literally my last £100</blockquote>

Tik Tok Adds, or the grinch that stole Christmas

As a small ethical brand, to say it’s been a difficult year is putting it mildly. Money has ebbed and flowed with every wave of covid and at times nothing has come in at all. Just when I thought the business was about to start moving, I’ve been hit with a £1000 energy bill for December 21 to January 22. The total bill is £1700. This is the whole years under estimates, being charged at the new high prices.I don’t really have any comment, as I’m still too stunned to process this. I’m literally speechless.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<blockquote>No words</blockquote>
