Lansdown Financial Services
Featured in the media this month · 30+ pieces of media coverage.
Doug graduated from University of Birmingham with a BA Honors Degree in Geography in 2008. After working in the hospitality sector managing a number of bars and restaurants during his time whilst at and after university, and also working as a Brand Ambassador for Nike, he started working in the finance industry.
He qualified as a mortgage broker in 2009 shortly after joining one of the UK’s largest mortgage brokers. He worked there for 11 years and consistently finished in the top 10 out of more than 400 advisers in the company for written business every year, before co-founding Lansdown Financial Services in 2021.
With his wealth of experience Doug specialises in complex cases, including HNW loans above £1.0m, portfolio landlords and mortgages held through a Limited Company.
Outside of work he has a young growing family with his wife Steph, is a very keen footballer and golfer, and, for his sins, an avid Arsenal fan.
