Herefordshire Riding for the Disabled
Herefordshire Riding for the Disabled began in 1991 on the grounds of Holme Lacy College in Herefordshire. With the help of a superb team of volunteers, we provide riding lessons to a large number of disabled individuals in the area.

Our specialised team welcomes clients with physical and learning disabilities and autism.

Holme Lacy is home to up to ten Riding for the Disabled horses, thirty-five volunteers and two staff. Everyone is trained and qualified to deliver the best possible riding experiences - based on user needs, personal ambitions and therapeutic goals.

As a member of the National Riding for the Disabled Association, we encourage health, wellbeing, quality of life and achievement. Herefordshire RDA is run by a board of Trustees, who also volunteer at the centre from time to time.

Our centre is self-funding via grants, donations and regional fundraising.
