Female Co-Founders, Emily and Jasmine are based in Essex, UK and proudly announced the launch of their first Kickstarter campaign to help the company fund the development of its Gratitude mobile app. "Research shows that grateful people tend to be healthy and happy. They exhibit lower levels of stress and depression, cope better with adversity and sleep better. They tend to be happier and more satisfied with life. Even their partners tend to be more content with their relationships.” – CNN Health The idea for the app was born out of the co-founders’ own struggles with mental health in 2016. Rhonda Byrne’s bestselling book “The Secret” led them both to the practice of Gratitude and, through this daily practice they were able to manage their anxiety without the need for medication. Now they’re on a mission to inspire and empower people all over the world to build the habit, cultivate the practice and unleash the power of Gratitude – using their newly developed mobile app. Calm app for meditation is one of the most downloaded health and fitness apps in the Apple App Store where it earned the 2017 App of the Year award. GLOW intends to follow in their footsteps within the trillion dollar wellness industry, and has big plans to bring the benefits of gratitude practice to millions of users within the next few years. And it’s hard not to get excited with an ever-increasing amount of scientifically backed research emerging on the powerful impact of Gratitude. The GLOW Kickstarter Campaign is located online at GLOW with Gratitude - Mobile App by Jasmine Lea and Emily Dunkley — Kickstarter – and with the app due to launch in Summer 2022, now is a great time to access some of the exciting early subscription discounts they have on offer. The Wellbeing company has already thanked over 58 backers for helping them to reach 70% of their initial target in just the first 10 days, and is welcoming backing from like-minded people who want to make the world a healthier, happier place.
“What Calm is to Meditation, GLOW is to Gratitude and we are developing a beautifully designed mobile app that will give users an immersive experience, far beyond anything existing apps and paper-based journals can offer.” – Co-founders, Emily and Jasmine

GLOW Brand Global is creating a beautifully designed app which offers users an immersive experience and enables them to build the habit, cultivate the practice and unleash the power of Gratitude. So what is Gratitude? Backed by experts and scientists worldwide, Gratitude is being aware of and thankful for the good things that happen in your life, and taking the time to express appreciation and return kindness. Mindful.org writes that "In general, people are more cognitively aware of their “headwinds” (or barriers they face) than “tailwinds” (benefits they receive). By paying more attention to our tailwinds, studies have shown that we can accentuate feelings of happiness, optimism, and positive emotion." Millions of years ago, our brains main focus was to SURVIVE – make babies, find shelter, eat food, stay safe, connect with our tribe. Fast forward a few million years… Biologically, our brains haven’t changed all that much. But our external environment is vastly different and this disconnect leads to an increasing number of people being overwhelmed, unhappy and unhealthy. How does Gratitude work? Psychology Today explains Gratitude works "by stimulating two important regions in our brains: the hypothalamus, which regulates stress, and the ventral tegmental area, which plays a significant role in the brain’s reward system that produces feelings of pleasure." The list of benefits from practising gratitude are far reaching and span across physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Increased Serotonin and Dopamine (the happy hormones!), better sleep, less stress, more energy, deeper relationships, improved confidence and resilience, boosted immune system...the list goes on and on! The number of studies into the field of Gratitude has grow exponentially in the last decade and is showing no signs of slowing, and with the global wellness industry already valued at over $4.5trillion, GLOW looks set to become a frontrunner in an area of this market that remains largely unserved. In a post-Covid world where the political, social and environmental landscapes are increasingly uncertain, GLOW's new app will give users the tool to magnify the good in their lives and restore balance.
What Calm is to Meditation, GLOW is to Gratitude.
