The Winter Gardens will host 700 guests to celebrate the achievements of resilient and brilliant female entrepreneurs in the wake of the most difficult year imaginable.&nbsp; Liz Beavis the MD of Lake District financial planning firm Financial Management Bureau has reached the final and the company are taking 10 team members to enjoy the evening. “It’s so great to focus on the achievements of NW businesses, there is so much untapped talent up here and an event like the EVA’s highlights that women can be successful leaders and start their own businesses. SMEs are a huge part of the UK economy and the majority of them are not based in the Southeast. I hope other women notice the diversity of businesses in the spotlight and see that you can do it.” The event on the 24th September is the 10th anniversary of the awards which have become synonymous with Blackpool and it certainly has all the glitz and glamour you would expect. It will definitely be a party to remember after 18 months of online business networking. “Running an SME can be an isolating experience and we rely on each other for moral support and advice. We have been so consumed with trying to ensure the mental wellbeing of our employees is okay, sometimes there is nobody to support the people at the top. We really rely on our personal networks and mine includes other businesswomen who really understand trying to juggle work and family.
