Held at the town's Customs House arts venue, the one-day event proved to be a resounding success, bringing much-needed opportunities for local businesses to connect, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions. The brainchild of Ian Farrar, the Founder of marketing agency Far North Ltd, the conference was conceived as a response to the unprecedented challenges faced by micro-businesses during the pandemic. The necessity for a physical event to reignite networking and collaborations became evident after the success of their live-streamed business content during the lockdowns. With interactions dwindling, turnovers falling, and support needed, the Micro Business Unite conference emerged as a powerful platform for businesses to rebuild and thrive. One of the conference's main highlights was the dynamic lineup of thought-provoking speakers and industry experts who shared valuable insights and inspiration.
