Dinosaur Books Ltd is a micro publishing company founded by Sonya McGilchrist, a former BBC journalist and television producer.

We are passionate about reading for pleasure and as a Black owned and led publishing company, we aim to promote diversity and inclusion across the whole publishing industry.

At the heart of all our titles is an engaging story, designed for children to read for pleasure.

Our books are aimed at children aged 5 - 14 with an emphasis on storytelling that appeals to our audience: we produce books that children love to read. Our dinosaur-themed Dinoteks series is often the first book that a child has voluntarily read for pleasure; which is something that makes us very happy!

Our titles reflect the diversity of our company and our belief in inclusion: we champion authors and illustrators that are underrepresented in publishing.

Our focus is on middle grade (KS2, ages 8 - 12) and younger middle grade (KS1, ages 6 - 9).
