Claire has been supporting entrepreneurs, business leaders and management teams for over 20 years. She set up her first HR consultancy in 2001, taking responsibility for all aspects of the business cycle from sales, marketing and business development to operational recruitment, training and core HR services. Following the sale of her business, Claire relocated to Devon with her family, where she founded Coops & Co (formerly Claire Cooper HR) as an independent HR consultancy. Claire brings a wealth of additional experience, including successfully project managing a restaurant set up, a professional sailing team on tour, the `Business Action on Homelessness’ project for the Business in the Community charity, and managing the high street branches of two recruitment companies, Reed and Arden Shields, successfully guiding the latter through the IIP process. In 2006 Claire was appointed Chair of the Young Institute of Directors and later that year was a finalist for Grazia’s Businesswoman of the Year Award.
