Colin Crooks MBE, is a serial social entrepreneur, business coach, lecturer and adviser. His latest book Prosper with Purpose draws on his experience to guide business owners on how to grow their business, and at the same time enjoy the life they envisaged when they started it. His passionate but pragmatic approach has helped him set up 5 award winning social enterprises employing more than 1,000 long-term unemployed people. Green-Works gained the Queens Award for Enterprise; Sustainable Development.
2012 wrote ‘How to Make a Million Jobs, a charter for social enterprise’.
2012 founded Tree Shepherd, which trained & supported hundreds of disadvantaged people to start their own business.
2019 awarded an MBE for “services to disadvantaged people and the environment.”
He currently mentors' small businesses, delivers the UK governments Help to Grow programme, hosts a podcast called Stressing Values and advises several charities.
