Rob trained as a solicitor in the City of London. After qualifying he joined Flint Bishop Solicitors in Derby. After becoming a Partner in the firm in 2004 he then became the Head of their Employment and HR team in 2007, a role he held until 2019 when he left to start the new challenge at BMcPrecept. Rob has been recognised for many years by the Legal 500, most recently 2019. The Legal 500 is an industry recognised body that rates lawyers based on research they conduct with clients. Rob has worked with organisations of all shapes and sizes. During his career he has built a substantial client base ranging from household names with large HR teams to small businesses with no HR. He has also worked with national and local Government bodies, education establishments, sporting institutions and charities. Rob recognises that many businesses require both Employment Law and HR advice and prefer to get that from one person. His work with clients ranges from being a sounding board for HR issues all the way through to complex Employment Law issues. He can attend or conduct HR meetings and carry out training so is a real one stop shop for all HR and Employment Law matters, no matter the size and structure of your business.
