Rob Gill

Rob graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Economics and started his career in investment banking, working as an Equity Trader with for a Japanese bank Nomura from 1997. He then moved to the retail side of finance, cutting his teeth in mortgage broking at a large Knightsbridge based firm from 2006, before co-founding a firm in the City in 2009. He then co-founded Altura in 2018. Rob has worked with a variety of clients, from first-time buyers to home movers, through to international and self-employed borrowers. Rob first stated media commentary on the mortgage market in 2008 during the financial crisis and made several TV and radio appearances. He has since been a regular contributor in the mainstream and industry print media.
