I’m Helen Kelley and as you may have guessed - Your Quintessential Assistant. I launched Your Quintessential Assistant in November 2018 after almost 15 years working as a PA and Administrator for a huge range of innovative businesses. During that time, I worked with both intimate, family run companies and major, national businesses. I loved playing a vital role in their success, championing them and solving all the nitty gritty problems that kept getting in the way of their growth. To me, there was nothing better. But I always knew I wanted to leave the corporate world. My dream was to be my own leader; to create a work life balance that meant I could spend more time with my family and have the option to travel as they grew older. And I wanted to give that gift back to entrepreneurs and business owners so that they too could enjoy more time and freedom. Which is how Your Quintessential Assistant was born. I now get to work with SME business owners around the country from my beautiful hometown of Whiteley. I help them step off the hamster wheel when they feel like they’re drowning in tasks but have no idea where to start. I give them the gift of time. In doing so, my family and I have finally found a totally new way of life. One that is calmer and more meaningful. One that involves long walks across the coast or adventures out in the forest. It’s the ideal combination, and one I am grateful for every single day.
