Assessment technology provider BTL Group Ltd. (trading as Surpass Assessment) celebrated with afternoon tea on 17 January, at their prestigious presentation for their Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Excellence in International Trade) by the Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Ed Anderson CBE. Local leaders, the BTL Board of Directors and Chair Bob Gomersall attended the ceremony to celebrate the award, which recognised outstanding success in the assessment industry and significant levels of investment.&nbsp; Saltaire-based BTL (trading as Surpass Assessment) will mark 40 years as a company during Bradford’s City of Culture year in 2025, work with local education providers and were recognised with a Careers Technical Education (CTE) Partnership Award in 2021 for supporting Shipley College and young students taking T-Level qualifications. Providing jobs both locally and internationally in the assessment software industry, the firm currently employ around 170 staff in the UK and US, and were listed as the 20th fastest-growing company in the Yorkshire Fastest 50 Awards 2022.&nbsp; In 2022, Surpass delivered more than 3 million tests across 78 countries around the world.&nbsp; Their Managing Director Sonya Whitworth is a strong female leader in the technology industry and winner of an international Stevie Award for Women in Business.&nbsp; &nbsp;<blockquote>“I am proud that we have won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
