Twitch 'implied nudity' streaming - does it have a place on the platform?

In recent weeks, streaming site Twitch has been embroiled in controversy over ‘implied topless’ streams by users such as Asianbunny and Morgpie, who were both briefly banned from the site before Twitch updated its sexual content policy to explicitly permit streams with a sexual element short of pornography. Streams like theirs can be accessed by anyone, including children, without logging in or verifying their age, by accessing channels such as Just Chatting or the dedicated Hot Tubs page. While most of Twitch's audience is over 18, gaming content is hugely popular with children.

The question is - does content like this belong on Twitch, or should these performers seek another platform with a more mature audience? And does Twitch have a responsibility to its younger users to protect them from content they should not be seeing - more than simply an age gate over mature content (below)?
