Snow risk next week: why disruption lasts longer than the weather
Snow risk is being flagged for next week and I’m building a UK-wide alert around the delayed recovery after severe weather (not just the snow day itself).
I’d love other Newspage users’ views on:
- What recovery issues you’re seeing after storms (power, comms, access, deliveries, safe working conditions, site downtime).
- What angles journalists actually pick up on (practical advice, stats, safety, cost impact, human stories).
- Any credible UK-wide sources/data you’d recommend to support the “recovery lasts longer than the weather” point
