Small business owners hit by CGT and dividend tax raid

Will the last remaining small business owner in the country please turn the light off?

Our proud "nation of shopkeepers" has been dealt multiple blows over the past few years, each of them potentially fatal.

We were physically banned from trading during Covid lockdowns.

The Beatles' claim that "there's one for you, nineteen for me" was never more true than for small business owners.
