Hello financial advisers,

You may have seen the news this morning that the FSCS has cut its levy by almost half for 2023-24.

However, the amount advice firms are being asked to pay has only fallen by £4mn, with the total sum now £101mn.

We're eager to hear all your thoughts on this for a follow-up story later today.

Some questions you might consider:

Are you satisfied with the levy system overall? Do you think it is fair?

Would you like to see the levy reduced further, but if so how should compensation be collected for mistreated consumers?

Let us know below.

With thanks,

Jane
