Keying customer details

Journalist: Jake Carter, Mortgage Introducer

ended 13. October 2023

LiveMore has introduced ‘counter-offer’ to its platform. Using the feature, brokers will only need to key their client’s details once, and LiveMore will return not only all product options available but potential alternative options if the original product does not fit.

What are your views on this?

Is this something you have been calling for?

How important is it to reduce keying customer details multiple times and why?

No news here TBH, Precise was doing that nearly a decade ago.

Repeating data entry definitely ups the chances of making mistakes. We're big fans of tech-driven methods that boost efficiency and expand choices for our clients.

Good step forwards, not 100% new, but its good to see them trying to get up to speed. When open banking is 100% fully accepted by all, our job will be to see who can offer the right money at the right price without all the calculations etc. we will only need to check criteria with those who can lend. This is a big step towards mortgage lenders joining us in the 21st century,

This is a positive step - most lenders platforms do this now and anything that speeds things up and makes them easier! Having to do full rekeys and not being able to copy and paste information from your factfind are very frustrating for brokers.
