I went in to this year feeling positive yet sales continue to plummet and the mood of my customers is going with it. High energy bills and cost of living mean spare pennies are no longer spare and therefore are not spent with us.
Our March sales were one of the lowest months of trading since we began over 8 years ago and the reason for this is very clearly our current government.
It's incredulous that we are now having to deal with bullies in parliament whilst our own small worlds crumble.
Small businesses cannot survive on positive words alone, use us or lose us.
