Looking for landlords struggling with tenants who can't pay rent

Looking into a story for a national newspaper about landlords who may have tenants who can't afford rent. 

The context is the cost of living / steep jumps in rent and energy bills. 

Have brokers noticed that more landlords have tenants struggling to meet costs? What is the protocol in this situation? 

Also searching for a landlord case study who is in this position and happy to talk to me.
