Lender criteria cladding remediation
Interested in speaking to mortgage brokers about cases with cladding and what their experience has been like since lenders changed their criteria.
Last year the big six said they would lend on properties needing cladding remediation as long as there is evidence of self-remediation, coverage from government schemes or protections from the Building Safety Act.
- Have you had any cases recently that have fit that bracket? What was your experience?
- Did they progress faster than they would have done before?
- Is there anything more you want the lender community to do to facilitate this kind of cases?
