IT and legal services driving UK economy forward
The latest GDP data is out and it shows that the UK economy grew by 0.6% in the second quarter of the year. In June, however, the economy showed zero growth. ONS director of economic statistics Liz McKeown said: The UK economy has now grown strongly for two quarters, following the weakness we saw in the second half of last year. Growth across the three months was led by the service sector, where scientific research, the IT industry and legal services all did well." Any ideas as to why legal services and IT did so well and what's causing the growth in these sectors? Please respond with a line or two ASAP as this story is BREAKING.
