I have to say, The Coventry have really stepped up. Their customer service to brokers has been second to none and when they've had to pull rates, they've given our ARs enough notice to make sure the clients are not affected

Landbay, is always good. Good u/w, good service times and u/w that actually call you to clear small points. Also, UTB are seriously fast right now. Application assessed 2 hours after I put it in! Some lenders are being really good in this tough time, others are not so good but I'm not a grass.

We are in the unfortunate position that there are more lenders that stand out for negative reasons than positive ones.

However thankfully there are still lenders such as Coventry , Kensington and even Barclays who give adequate notice of rate withdrawals and allow for products to be reserved after AIP in the case of Barclays.

Personally i have been more impressed by the smaller lenders who seem less inclined to "knee jerk" rate decisions and are offering more stable criteria and products. As a broker a degree of certainty at the moment is a fantastic USP!

So for this reason alone the following lenders impress me - Newcastle BS, Nottingham BS, Newbury BS and West Brom BS.
