How the government can get digital identity right

For an upcoming Raconteur/Times report, I'm looking at the UK government's plans to create a digital ID through its One Login programme. 

Looking for public sector, tech and cybersecurity experts (no vendors) to share some thoughts/views in response to any of the following:

– How can the government get digital identity right?
– How can the government improve convenience for citizens without leaving anyone behind or jeopardising trust?
– What are the biggest concerns regarding data sharing for identity verification services?
