HMRC's CGT real time reporting service

I am writing a piece for MoneyWeek off the back of a freedom of information request by Quilter on HMRC's real time tax reporting service for CGT.

It found that less than 1% of Capital Gains Tax was paid through HMRC’s Real Time Service last year.

I am looking for views on how aware people are of the real reporting service. Why do so few people use it to report/pay CGT gains? How can it be improved?
