For most households this feels like a plaster over a much bigger problem! £150 off an energy bill or frozen rail fares is welcome, but it barely touches the surface when mortgage, rent and everyday living expenses have risen so sharply over the past few years. The reality is that many people still feel worse off despite the headline support.
