Daily Telegraph - Gen Z bosses - Only Gen Z bosses respond

ended 17. April 2024

ONLY GENERATION Z BOSSES RESPOND PLEASE

A journalist is writing a piece for The Telegraph's Money section about Gen Z's leadership/ management style.

She's looking for a handful of case studies (Gen Z bosses). Maybe they're a Gen Z boss who has "Mindful Mondays" with staff. Or maybe they're a more traditional Gen Z, who thinks nothing needs to change in the workplace.

The journalist is aiming to submit either tomorrow or Friday, contingent on the speed of replies.

If you're interested can you let us know.. Also, can you briefly describe your leadership/manageent style.

Polite request: no experts please.

The way I run Sett Mortgages is very flexible and task based, I trust in my ability to hire the right people who can carry out their role without the need for me to micro-manage.

I prefer task based leadership as opposed to anything else, for example I wouldn't expect my admin to adhere to set hours, she chooses when she works the set weekly hours and as long as the tasks are completed to a high standard, which they always are, there is no need for me to be demanding they start or end at certain times

I think, from experience, if you bring in the right people and show trust in their ability, they can flourish.
