Construction output grew by 0.4% in November 2024, following a fall of 0.3% in October 2024 (revised up from a fall of 0.4% in our last release); construction also grew by 0.2% in the three months to November 2024, <a href="https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/grossdomesticproductgdp/bulletins/gdpmonthlyestimateuk/november2024">according to data</a> published this morning. Construction sector grows 0.4% in November

With stamp duty thresholds changing in April, it's possible November's 0.4% growth in construction output was spurred by a rush to complete sales before then. Either way, it's a welcome filip for the economy and an under siege Chancellor.
