Are the same bridging loan cases being sent to several brokers?
Bridging Loan Directory is looking at whether borrowers are increasingly asking several brokers to source finance for the same transaction.
We would like to hear from bridging loan brokers and lenders with recent first-hand experience.
Have you discovered that a case was already being handled or submitted by another broker? How did you identify the duplication, why do you think it happened, and what effect did it have on the application, terms offered or time spent?
We are also interested in whether multiple submissions create confusion for lenders, make deal pipelines appear larger than the number of genuine transactions, or damage the borrower’s prospects.
Recent anonymised examples are welcome. Short responses of around 100–200 words would be ideal.
Once Bridging Loan Directory has published the story, Newspage will adapt it for a wider audience and send it to national and consumer media.
